Korean baked goods and delicious aromas abound at Sumi Chun’s stall located in the front window of Novo. Sweet treats are definitely a highlight of the beignets, buns, and cakes but the savory options of shrimp toast and bulgogi bakes are also absolutely not to be missed.

The first prepared food venture from the owners of Many More Asian Market right here in Pittsburgh’s Strip District, Teachana combines an extensive selection of the ever popular bubble, fruit, and milk teas with bowls of ramen and street food snacks.
Visit Korea Garden menu
After 22 years of operating Korea Garden in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood, Seok Kun Han and Mun Ja Han bring family style Korean food to Novo. Korea Garden features bento boxes with bulgogi and jae yook bookeum, bibimbap, and a broad array of Korean street food staples such as kimchi pancakes and tteokbokki.

Classic Taiwanese style fried chicken takes center stage at Kung Fu chicken no matter whether you order the chicken pops, cutlets, or sandwich. Fried to a juicy, crispy perfection the chicken is accompanied by popular Chinese treats such as plum fries and fried milk.

Chef Minh Luong second Pittsburgh location of Tan Lac Vien offers a broad selection of banh mi, pho, small bites, and rice dishes highlighting classic Vietnamese flavors and sauces with great options for both omnivores and vegetarians alike!
Visit Mola menu
Mola offers the highest quality fish served across a menu of maki rolls, nigiri pieces, chirashi bowls, handrolls and nigiri pieces. The menu also features rotating specials such as Hokkaido uni and Wagyu beef and is rounded out by side dishes and hot plates such as miso soup, grilled salmon with miso and Berkshire pork shoulder.

Max and Zoey Blume bring the first fully focused Filipino restaurant to Pittsburgh with Lolo’s which features modern takes on classic Filipino dishes such as adobo, sisig, lumpia, pancit noodles and more as well as featuring Filipino American favorites like Spam silog on their brunch menu.

The central bar highlights a broad array of lesser known Asian spirits and ingredients with its craft cocktail program as well as offering an extensive collection of Japanese whisky, sake, and craft beer in a vibrant, whimsical environment.

Q: What is a food hall and how does it all work?
A food hall is a fast, casual place to experience a variety of cuisines all under one roof. You can choose to order food by kiosk, QR code, or with a cashier at each individual kitchen. Once you place your order, you’ll receive a pager (or a text if you order by QR code/kiosk) that will notify you when your food is ready for pickup from the kitchen where you placed your order.
Q: Are there any family-owned Asian restaurants here?
Yes, all 7 of our concepts are family owned and operated!
Q: Where should I sit?
We have 285 seats for you to choose from! You can dine at our bar or larger community tables but we also have individual dining tables if you prefer a more private dining experience as well as outdoor tables that are pet friendly.

Each individual kitchen can help assist you with your dietary restrictions and food allergies. Just let the kitchen staff know how to accommodate you and we will do our best!
Q: Do you have gift cards available for purchase?
We have both physical and electronic gift cards available for purchase.
Q: Is there a bar?
We do have a centrally located 28 seat bar. We specialize in craft cocktails that highlight Asian ingredients like gochujang, lychee and matcha in approachable ways. We are proud to offer Pittsburgh’s largest selection of makgeolli and shochu! We also have an extensive selection of soju and Asian whiskies and gins as well as sake by the glass, carafe, and bottle.
Q: Where can I find water, napkins, chopsticks, etc?
There are water and utensil stations located throughout the food hall for you to easily access. Please feel free to refill the provided cups and glass water bottles from one of the many large beverage dispensers we have for you to use!
Q: When are you open?
Our hours of operation are from 11-9pm Monday-Saturday and from 11a-4p on Sunday. Please note that while we do welcome you to enjoy a drink at the bar until 10pm Monday-Saturday, our kitchens do close at 9pm.
Q: What can I eat here?
Novo Asian Food Hall features 7 different kitchen concepts that will change every few years, but we will always exclusively serve Asian food. Our current lineup of kitchen concepts are as follows: Mola, Tan Lac Vien 2, Kung Fu Chicken, Korea Garden, Teachana, Sumi’s Cakery, and Lolo’s. Our restaurants are currently serving sushi, phô, spring rolls, báhn mí, Taiwanese fried chicken, bibimbap, bulgogi, kimchi pancakes, bubble tea, Korean cakes and pastries, lumpia, spam and eggs and so much more.
Q: What days are you closed?
While our bar is open 7 days a week, our kitchens do take turns closing so that they can better prepare to serve you. Our current kitchen schedule is as follows:
Closed Mondays: Korea Garden, Lolo’s, Sumi’s Cakery
Closed Tuesdays: Kung Fu Chicken, Lolo’s
All 7 kitchens are OPEN Thursday-Sunday!

Q: Can I bring my dog into the restaurant?
We love dogs but unfortunately health codes prohibit pets from the food hall. This includes dogs in carriers, crates, backpacks, and those being held by their humans. Service dogs are welcome per ADA regulations but this permittance does not extend to emotional support animals. We do welcome dogs in our outdoor dining areas as well as at the passageway tables however.
Q: Do you offer nonalcoholic options?
We have many nonalcoholic options for you to choose from! Our bar creates rotating specialty beverages that are spirit free and extremely flavorful. Our kitchens also have options for you like bubble tea, fruit teas and Red Ribbon sodas from our friends at Natrona Bottling.
Q: Are there vegan/vegetarian options available?
Each kitchen has vegan/vegetarian options available. If you have questions about which items are vegan/vegetarian friendly, all you need to do is ask and our staff will be happy to help you.
Q: Do you have outdoor dining?
As the Pittsburgh weather becomes warmer and more welcoming to outdoor dining, we will have outdoor seating available in the front of the restaurant as well as in the passageway.
Q: Do you offer delivery?
We do not currently offer delivery but we are planning to launch this feature in the coming months. Follow us @novo_terminal for the latest updates regarding this information!
Q: Is there a place where I can lock my bike?
The Terminal building has many bike racks along Smallman Street as well as in the rear parking lot available for you to safely lock your bike or your scooter. We kindly ask that you do not bring bikes or scooters into the food hall as they are a tripping hazard for our guests and staff and space can be limited during peak business hours.
Q: Are you handicap accessible?
We are handicap accessible. Access ramps for our guests are located at both of our entrances in the front and back of the food hall. Accessible dining is available throughout the food hall and can be reserved ahead of time. Just email novoasianfoodhall@gmail.com with your requests and we will be happy to accommodate you!
